Naomi has had a blast with both Grandma and Grandpa this week. She's learned so many new things from them like climbing the stairs, climbing the couch, and climbing the carseat. There's been lots of singing, dancing and chinese nursery rhymes in this house. Naomi sure is loved. Here are some pictures from a couple weeks back during memorial day weekend. It's always such a treat to hang out with Gong-gong and Pua-pua.

:: FUNNY FACE ::
Apparently, when I was a baby, I used to make a weird scrunched up face just for kicks. Naomi is definitely my kid because she's started doing the same thing. We are for sure related.

:: ON THE MOVE ::
Naomi does not stop moving. She's a crawling machine right now and is constantly on the go. Wish us luck keeping up with this one because I can tell she's going to be a handful already.

:: A FUTURE YELLOW JACKET? ::
Here's a quick dedication to my alma mater. Paul and I are both Georgia Tech grads so of course I'd love it if Naomi decides to go there 18 years from now. She doesn't need to be an engineer but of course we'll let her decide when the time comes. Maybe we'll have another product designer in the family?!
-- Thank you David, Yonghee and Ohhee for Naomi's GT gear.

I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech, and a hell of an engineer—
A helluva, helluva, helluva, helluva, hell of an engineer.
Like all the jolly good fellows, I drink my whiskey clear.
I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer.
Oh! If I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in White and Gold,
And put her on the campus to cheer the brave and bold.
But if I had a son, sir, I'll tell you what he'd do—
He would yell, 'To hell with Georgia!' like his daddy used to do.
Oh, I wish I had a barrel of rum and sugar three thousand pounds,
A college bell to put it in and a clapper to stir it round.
I'd drink to all the good fellows who come from far and near.
I'm a ramblin', gamblin', hell of an engineer!

:: 0.5 YEARS OLD ::
Today Naomi is officially 6 months old. Wow - time really does fly when you have a kid. She loves to pose for the camera early in the mornings when we take most of these photos. Thanks, sis, for the outfit and the blanket! She loves her some muslin fabric.

:: CRAWL, BABY, CRAWL ::
Here's a new trick our little one is learning - - getting on all fours and squirming. She's trying really hard to crawl and she's actually able to move about fairly well. Is it too early to baby-proof?

:: CARTER'S PUPPY ::
An amazing perk of being a designer is seeing your designs come to life. Here's one of the plush toys I designed while working at Kids II. This was a licensed product for Carter's Child of Mine line. Too bad this guy is discontinued because Naomi enjoys playing with it now that she's more coordinated and kind of crawling.

:: THANK YOU GOO-GOO ::
Just wanted to say "Thanks Goo-Goo" for Naomi's little bunny. She's loves to play with it - well, she mainly chews on it but she does appreciate it a lot. We miss you and come visit soon!

:: SHE SITS! ::
This morning I decided to try something new with Naomi. Instead of placing her on her tummy, I decided to test the waters with her ability to sit and guess what - - she sat! Another milestone at 5.5 months has been met. Next to come - walking!

:: MAYBE IT'S MAYBELLINE ::
I'm not sure where she gets it, but Naomi has some pretty long lashes for an asian baby. I took this photo while she was playing with one of her toys and Paul decided to make an ad out of it. I like!
:: SILLY GIRL ::
Naomi was being really good last week and was talking up a storm. Well, she wasn't actually talking but she sure was making a lot of gurgles and shrieky sounds. I can't help but to take tons of photos of the her when the opportunity presents itself.

:: HAPPY NEW YEAR BUG? ::
Happy Chinese New Year! I don't have a dragon outfit so here's Naomi in a ladybug outfit. I know - doesn't make any sense at all but I don't really care. Haha.

:: NEW BLOOM ::
I received this orchid as a birthday gift over a year ago. At one point, I thought this guy was a goner but apparently it lives! Thanks for helping me revive this, dad. You're awesome!
